The Geneva International Motor Show will take place for the 81st time from March 3-13 2011 at PALEXPO. It is the only international automobile show in Europe, recognised by the OICA (International Organisation of Automobile Constructors) that takes place every year.
Taking place on « neutral ground », the Geneva Motor Show is known as the most open and most representative of the industry in the world. Their effort to encourage the exhibition of new ecological and economical technologies under the title “Green Vision” has enhanced another facet of its reputation as an “avant-garde” event.
Every year, the automobile industry chooses Geneva to present a large selection of world and European premiers. As a result, in 2010 the electronic access system registered 11,418 entries of media representatives from 75 countries to cover the 167 world and European premiers during the two press days before the public opening.
