13.02.2013 Geneva Future Mobility Forum: A series of conferences to be held during the Geneva International Motor ShowThe Geneva International Motor Show will open to the public in a little less than three weeks. For the first time, this year’s Motor Show will include a series of conferences on todays and tomorrow’s transportation or “mobility” issues, running from Friday March 8th to Friday March 15, 2013. 10 speakers will be presenting and there will be two conferences per day on a wide range of automobile-related themes including: technology, ecology, security, politics, publicity and motor sport. These conferences will be open to the public and entry is free for all visitors to the Motor Show. For further details: www.salon-auto.ch
Under the name of “Geneva Future Mobility Forum” (GFMF) a series of conferences/debates will be organised for the first time within the framework of the Geneva International Motor Show, offering visitors added value by participating at no cost and without the need to inscribe in advance. Every afternoon from 2-3 p.m. and from 5-6 p.m. two conferences will be presented in either French or German. To participate you merely have to proceed to Room K at the Palexpo Congress Centre.
The Programme:
Friday March 8th
2 p.m. “PLC tracer, moving towards universal electric transportation?” presented (in German) by Lutz Höppner, Global Account Manager of the Altran Group, world leader in engineering consulting and innovation.
5 p.m. “Formula1: a legend on the move”, presented (in French) by Jacques Deschenaux, former motor sports journalist and Director for Sports at Television Suisse Romande.
Monday March 11th:
2 p.m. “Everything there is to know about the alternative propulsion world”, presented (in German) by Thomas Hügli, Director of the transportation office of E’mobile and Swisspower.
5 p.m. “Automobile advertising: from the dreams of passion to the passion to dream”, presented (in French) by Nathalie Favre, Key Account Manager HAVAS Worldwide in Geneva and in charge of Citroen for Switzerland.
Tuesday March 12th
2 p.m. “Electric transportation for daily use”, presented (in German) by Stéphane Rosset, Business Development Manager of Group E, the number one distributor of electric energy in French-speaking Switzerland.
5 p.m. The same conference by Stèphane Rosset, presented in French.
Wednesday March 13th
2 p.m. “Sound financing for road infrastructure projects”, presented (in German) by Andreas Burgener, Director of Auto-Suisse, the association of Swiss automobile importers.
5 p.m. “Freedom of choice for modes of transportation – reality or utopia?” presented (in French) by Michel Balestra, President of Utilexpo and Geneva Energy, and member of the Foundation Council of the Geneva International Motor Show.
Thursday March 14th
2 p.m. “Alpiq E-Mobility: the link between the automobile industry and the electricity supply industry”, presented (in German) by Nathalie Blumenau, Product Manager for Alpiq-E-Mobility.
5 p.m. “Computerising the recharging networking for electric vehicles: a major challenge”, presented (in French) by Francois Randin, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Green Motion, a company in Lausanne that produces recharging systems for electric vehicles.
Friday March 15th
5 p.m. “Security for business travel”, presented (in French) by Christian Wyssmüller, Security Consultant for the Bureau for Accident Prevention (BPA).

The eight finalists will run for the final election. The award ceremony will take place Monday, March 4 fromat3.00 pm at Palexpo’s Congress Center.

Accreditation Online accreditation is open from December 3rd, 2012 to February 25th, 2013.
The accreditation process is only possible online.
You will be asked to upload one of the following evidence to support your activity as professional journalist (1 Mo max, accepted file formats: doc, pdf, jpg and gif):
