    06.06.2012     83rd GVA motor Show: the 2013 edition is now underway!

    Inscriptions are now open for exhibitors at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show. The 83rd edition will take place from March 7 to March 17, 2013 at PALEXPO. Improvements for next year include even more space and a more modern framework. In effect, the enlargement of Hall 6 will now accommodate some 260 exhibitors by utilising 5,500 square meters of additional space. The space behind the main entrance will be rearranged to put in place an attractive new hall of 1,800 square meters. The organisers have also opened the competition for the creation of the official poster for 2013.

    More than 700,000 visitors from 5 continents are expected for this most complete of showrooms in the automobile world.  For the 2013 edition, there will be 5,500 square meters of additional exhibition space in Hall 6, which has been extended onto the esplanade area. This has been created by the organisers in response to demand from exhibitors that has regularly exceeded the available space in past years.  In addition, the principal entry hall has been reconfigured and will offer an attractive new emplacement of 1,800 square meters in the new Hall 3.

    Choosing the new poster.

    The competition to create a new official poster for the Motor Show is also now underway.  The selection of this new visual, which should reflect the spirit of the 83rd Geneva International Motor Show and that will be used in all national and international communications, will be made on July 1, 2013.

     

    The only international automobile exposition recognised by the OICA (International Organisation of Automobile Constructors),  that takes place annually in Europe, and is a member of the « Top 5 «  in the world, the 83rd edition of the Geneva International Motor Show will take place from March 7 to March 17, 2013 at PALEXPO.

    Organised on Switzerland’s « neutral ground «, the Geneva Motor Show is recognised as the most open and representative of automobile expositions : every Spring it presents an enormous selection of new models and world premieres.
