The Peugeot 207 made its debut to the world at the International Automobile Show and at the time completed the evolution of Peugeot’s small car format represented by the 107, the 1007, and the 206. Compared to the 206, the 207 was 20 cm longer, passing the 4 m barrier (403 cm). The 207 was available as either a three or five-door model. The car´s designers opted for a clear differentiation between the « Classic » and the « Sport » version by changing the front part of the car. The «Sport » model featured an enlarged and imposing front grille, accentuated by the slightly protruding nosepiece of the hood.
