    2007 Worldwide Premieres

    Maserati Gran Turismo

Pininfarina’s subtle re-design of the Maserati 2000 GT, called the Gran Turismo, was highlighted by a more aggressive treatment of the front of the car. In the back, the rear lights were shaped like upside down triangles, which were more pleasing and less controversial. The 4.2 liter V8 engine produced 405 horsepower, coupled to an automatic gear box with variable gear selection modes. The weight distribution of the car was nearly ideally balanced between the two axles at 51% / 49%.
