The Honda S2000 is a rear wheel driven roadster convertible powered by an engine mounted behind the front axle in a superb body. This architecture is further enhanced through technologies derived from competition and intended to provide the ultimate in driving sensation. The S2000 comes equipped with a 4 cylinder VTEC engine with 240 hp - a record output for a 2.0 l naturally aspirated engine. In fact, the last adjustments were made on roads in Switzerland in the presence of Swiss pilot Philippe Favre. This spirited roadster marks 50 years of existence in the history of the Japanese automaker. When introduced as a world premiere in Geneva, it was chosen "Cabrio of the Year 1999".
