Since it first appeared on the market in 1976, this smallest Ford model has been an undisputed success, with more than 12 million units sold. The Fiesta enjoys a reputation for reliability and being excellent value for money. Looking at the silhouette of the 2008 version, the Mercedes A Class springs to mind, with a little dash of the Hyundai i30 hinted at in the design of the rear lights. The man responsible for the design, Martin Smith, who joined the company from Opel in 2004, had very successfully integrated the principles of Kinetic Design with this model.
