Continuing its research in aerodynamics, Pininfarina produced the "Modulo" in 1970, based on a 512 S chassis with a central V12 5-litre engine. The roof and windscreen slide forward to allow access to the cockpit. The round air intakes of the engine are a new stylistic element and the wheels are partly streamlined.
