The 83rd Geneva International Motor Show: Website and ticket sales now online.

The Geneva International Motor Show will open its doors to the public from March 7-17, 2013 at PALEXPO in Geneva. The official website www.salon-auto.ch is now offering the initial information regarding the show and tickets for the event can be purchased online. The combined entry tickets and transportation arrangements will again be available through the CFF (Swiss national railways company) and the TPG (Geneva public transport company). Once again visitors can buy their entry tickets from 4 p.m. directly at the ticket windows at PALEXPO and benefit from a 50% reduction on the entry price.

The official poster for the 83rd Geneva International Motor Show was selected last September. The official website for the event, www.salon-auto.ch (sponsored by natural gas biogas) has adopted this poster for its home page.  The online ticket sales are now open and the first information regarding the Show, such as opening and closing times, access, entry ticket prices and the initial list of exhibitors are now available.  From February 6, 2013 the site will carry live videos of the construction of the stands using webcams installed in the exhibition halls at PALEXPO. On the website you can also win entry tickets and during the week before the opening of the Motor Show you can win a new car!

The offer of combination ticketswhich provide transportation to and entry into the Motor Show at a reduced price will again be available through the Motor Show’s partners the CFF (the Swiss railways company) and TPG (Geneva public transport company).  In effect, a large number of visitors have travelled to the Motor Show each year by public transportation.  The CFF has therefore decided to increase the capacity of their special trains destined for the Motor Show.  There will be 110 special trains offering 143,000 seats for travellers to PALEXPO versus the 136,000 seats available in 2012.

Visitors will also be able to buy their tickets starting at 4:00 pm each day and receive a 50% reduction on the entry price.  They can be purchased at the PALEXPO ticket counters situated at the entry to the Motor Show, the adjacent parking areas to PALEXPO and also the one of the Macumba night club in nearby France.  This offer is valid every day but cannot be combined with other special offers.
