Nissan Juke

Nissan has revealed the all new Juke, a small crossover previewed by the Qazana show car at the Geneva motor show last year. While the Qazana concept was developed at Nissan Design Europe (from an initial sketch by Matt Weaver) the production Juke was refined at Nissan's Design Center in Japan.

Fortunately the characteristic design elements of the Qazana - particularly the large headlamps at the edge of the grille, DLO shape and oversized wheelarches - have been effectively transferred in the process of bringing the car to production. The new car is unique in its aesthetic but also clearly exhibits Nissan's family DNA though an underlying sporting theme.

Based on Renault-Nissan's B-segment platform, the Juke has a 2530mm wheelbase, is 4135mm long, 1765mm wide and 1570mm tall. This allows for a five seat cabin that also retains a lot of the design features of its concept precursor, such as the motorcycle fuel tank-inspired center console.
